In order to improve subscriber relationship, and in the same time exonerate the customer service department, some of the services should be made more accessible to the subscriber. The best way to achieve this is to use the web and other communication channels such as IVR, WAP and SMS. Ring's e-CRM solutions package enable a fast and easy integration of self care services into the mobile operator infrastructure.
The authentication method is based on the subscriber's MSISDN (or SIM card) and assigned PIN. Optionally, during authentication of WEB requests, a one-time-pin (OTP) can also used.
The subscriber requests a PIN by sending an SMS, and receives it using the same channel (SMS).
Before using the web to access the service, the subscriber must request an OTP by sending an SMS from his mobile phone (MSISDN) containing the PIN. If the MSISDN / PIN combination is correct and valid, a time limited OTP is sent back to the subscriber. When using web access, the subscriber must supply the MSISDN and received OTP. |
